thanks again it seems the hole is leaking a lot there is no movement in the shaft but I will pull it and see just trying to find a way to not pollute the ocean with coolant

NAPA is what we do around 3pm here in Bocas Del Toro (BdT) Panama,,,, in BdT there is not even a gas station, no mechanics shop, you either fly into Panama for $250 short flight or spend 11 hours on...

I have a 1985 Perkins 4.236 with a coolant leak,,
I found the drip leak behind the fresh water pump,,, so now my question is how hard is this to fix?
It is in front of the gasket by the looks of...
