I have the EZ slide track on my mast. Head into wind I can get my main up (46') to within a couple feet of the head just by hand. And when I release the main sheet she'll fall right in to the lazy... |

One more disadvantage
is the cost vs. performance. Neither the in-boom or in-mast will perform as well as a standard hoisted sail $ for $ due to it's aerodynamic shape and the cost of manufacturing, which is what helps... |
