I had exactly the same problem with my 2 SilentWind generators and I had the rubber-bushed brackets. The noise was mostly from unbalanced blades. After balancing (and using blue locktite on...

Do not get SilentWind.

I had two and both were problematic since install. They were noisy and needed very frequent blade balancing.

The D400 is MUCH better.
