Whoohoo, we have our rudder ... sans drilled hole, but it is in our possession, having arrived half an hour ago. Now to start the process of cleaning, sanding, priming and anti-fouling. :) At least... |

With a modern Beneteau sloop that is unfortunately not possible. :( We don't have the mizzen and no configuration would get us anywhere in a steady direction. Believe me, we tried. :( |

Have sent an email to the French rep in France to ask when we can expect delivery. Tomorrow would be the two weeks we were originally promised. Still waiting for an answer. :( |

Would anyone agree with giving the rudder a light sanding before treating with a coat of primer before then applying 2 coats of anti-fouling? |
