Frankly, I would steer clear away from BT devices (GPS, AIS, nav data) as pairing and activating seems to be a case of hit and miss, both on Android and other systems (Windows, in my case).

Okay. See now what you are talking about with pairing and needing an app for managing BT. You are right. No Bluetooth for me. I have already ordered some wifi modules.

Okay. Thank you. I have had two questions answered so far. I know the status now of Transas charts and know I can have access to Bluetooth AIS. I would also rather do wifi but units are very costly....
