As an example, I once had 31' boat with 5 batteries. One was a start battery, two were in parallel as the house battery and the remaining two were also paralleled together as an "emergency" battery...

It really depends how all three batteries are connected (or not).

There are plenty of possibilities but without knowing the interconnection details, everyone of them is not much more than a guess.
