ps: If the velcro pad is OK but cheaper disks don't stick to it, put a clean finer grade good disk on, and use it as a sacrificial surface for the adhesive. When changing disks, only use a wee bit...

If the velcro is really shot try this trick.

Get a can of the spray-on adhesive used for plastic round drywall corners. Home Depot etc has it. It is lots less expensive than sanding disk...
