i just swapped serial/usb cables, and everything just works, no errors, no checksum clashes....all good. im ordering some higher quality ftdi chipset cables now. thanks all for the assist! ... |

The raymarine interface does have a nmea out thats going to my ICOM vhf (gps for DSC) and to the AIS data input. I'd like to use this RS232 for ease of use. I've ordered new FTDI based chipset... |

Pavel - the data is coming entirely through my Raspberry Pi running kplex right now. That is why everything is coming over TCP. These errors occur regardless of whether I'm getting the data via TCP... |
