Yes it does have a reservoir. Holds about a gallon of oil. The quantity has not moved in 2000 miles/300 hours of motoring. I think it should have.

I motored the boat from NY to Memphis, TN...

The CV joint and the thrust bearing appear to be an older Aquadrive system. The coupling was green before I removed it and machined several broken bolt heads off. The part more interesting and...

I bought a Trintella 38 damaged in hurricane sandy. The stuffing box is oil lubricated at both ends of the prop shaft with some sort of gear oil. Who knows what this is?!
