Havent been right thru the thread but for a quick 2 cents worth.
1) If you want to go upwind well, you need centreboards.

Have the same problem after replacing seals on prop shaft.
Have had the same suggestion that it could be the seal on the drain plug
that has failed so another haul out to sort out.

New FOF blades worked a treat
New blades weigh in at 1898gms each
Old blades 1445gms each
There is not enough wear to explain 450gms difference
