Since you sailed both, I have a question.

When shiftng the drives from forwad to neutral then reverse, did you notice a distinct difference in the shifting between the 42 and 420.

Great Loop on a SeaRay 480?

Does anyone have experience with doing the Loop on an early 2000’s Sea Ray 480? In particular, passing thru the 15th Bridge on the Erie Canal ?

We are interested in purchasing a 2018 Lagoon 42 and were told that we could get insurance however, if we don't have our 6-pack we would have to hire a captain(who has a OUPV) to move the boat for us...
