Yes that's a smart thing to do, eye damage from poorly made sunglasses doesn't matter cause your insurance will pay for the surgeries or transplants if possible.

One must choose the proper oil for the cooking temperature they require for sure. Hot oil can be dangerous in transit and something i would never attempt when on a voyage.

Sounds good except for the non stick pan a big no no unless its uncoated SS or cast iron some ceramics are ok if not from china.

I'm not a sailor but one quick look and it was obvious it wasn't going to work under sail.....where do the sails go in the mast is carrying solar panels?

Yes stainless steel need to be in contact with oxygen or it will corrode. But you must also keep in mind that a humid marine air can also act as a catalyst for corrosion.

Sounds like it may a bonding issue to me. Go over connections and make sure they are all clean and tight. If hooked to shore power the neutral can also be a problem. I have seen situations with open...
