A boatyard just recommended PPG ABC3 antifouling paint for my sailboat. I never heard of it before. Evidently military and commercial craft use it. anyone know anything about it? Practical Sailor...

we installed a solid fuel heater last spring. so far, not impressed. we used primarily charcoal briquettes. Perhaps there is a significant difference in heat output of different brand briquettes?...

many folks buying bigger ticket items set up LLC's in Montana to buy, register and own the boat, airplane, RV, etc in MT. saves a ton on sales taxes since there is no sales tax in MT

change from cartridge to spin-on oil filter

I notice some 4-107's and 4-108's have cartridge type oil filters and some have spin-on oil filters. Can the cartridge type be changed to spin-on type by changing the oil filtter base assembly?
