Liveaboard South coast UK info

Hi,

I was wondering if anyone has any info on good places to stay on the south coast UK over the coming winter?

I liveaboard with my family and currently doing repairs west of Plymouth.

We need a liveaboard friendly mariner from September to May and preferably somewhere safe and friendly.

I think Plymouth marinas are an option but Plymouth is a bit rough these days plus I would prefer to be heading east closer to France for my next journey

any recommendations would be greatly appreciated. Thank you

Brighton marina always seemed to tolerate liveaboard's but I wouldn't say you were a liveaboard, just be discrete. No washing all over the boat and and bikes on the pontoon

Portland Marina, no issue with liveaboards, friendly, safe, supermarket within walking distance.
You might be lucky and get a winter berth in Weymouth Marina or even in the harbour, right in the centre of town.
