Data Stream for the Great Lakes

A new accessible data base of Great Lakes status in various categories made its debut yesterday. You can take a look at the web site here:

I only just discovered it and I have not yet explored very far but for those interested or scientifically inclined this project appears extensive and likely to grow.

While I spent one minute trying to find actual data, I could not. However I do use, and many others as well, the GLOS buoy system, in the Great Lakes. They are a great tool when wanting to know live weather data on the water around the Great Lakes.

This is a very good site and thank you for posting it. This site is easier to use and provides a quick snapshot of things that sailors need. Thanks for posting it.
