What do those model abbs mean? DS/S/i/e

Apology to my novice question.

What do the different abbreviations in a model name name?
I figured that DS means Deck Saloon.
What about S, e, and i?
Do you know of any other abbreviations?

They mean whatever the manufacturer wants them to mean

Some (E & I) could be sail measurements.

As monkey says, it depends upon the manufacturer. On French boats the letters often designate different keel arrangements. D might stand for Dériveur: Centerboarder. DI would mean Dériveur intégrale: a centerboard incorporated into the hull so that it doesn't intrude into the living space in the cabin; it's beneath the cabin sole. An American builder might have FK for Full Keel, DK for a deep keel version, WK for wing keel, or SK for shoal keel. It would help to know specifically which boats you are wondering about.

It may also be a broker's shorthand, as in real estate ads.

Re: What do those model abbs mean? DS/S/i/e

The S was seen in Viko (S35, 40), Reinke (S11)

i was seen in Jeanneau Sun Odyseey (49 vs 49i)
The E, I think, was seen in Elan, Dufour, or Hanse.

I was just thinking this is perhaps some common knowledge that I missed.
If these abbreviations have no standard, I also accept that.

They mean exactly as much as the letters in a vehicle model number.

My last boat was a Hanse 400e from 2006. The "e" here means that the hull is made with Epoxy.

J/Boats started making an "E" model which stands for Elegance!
