I think it was the case linked to below, or at least suspected there was a connection. Similar scenario to this thread...someone came on posted an odd, possibly illegal, request...and then a news item popped up. No way to prove the conection, but it sure seemed likely.

Thanks, I can see it as plausible.[emoji848]
I have noticed lately a rash of first time/one-off posts of what appears to be trolling.
But, then again I can see how someone in, shall we say a fragile state of mind, could get lost in the mix so to speak.
It’s what trolls strive for; to see what kind of rise they can get from people by appearing to be so outrageous that people feel compelled to react, while those in the fragile state of mind fail to recognize that what they’re contemplating is in fact outrageous.
Of course “outrageous “ depends on one’s perspective. [emoji6]

I want to get to Far North Queensland Australia without a PCR test which the inventor says can't be used as a diagnostic for any virus. The inventor of the PCR said in an interview that Fauci is a lying fraudster. Conveniently the inventor of the PCR test died shortly before the scamdemic.

I can meet the sailor off the coast of Vietnam.
Or I can fly to Mexico.

I thought that "soul tokens" might be Bitcoins but reading on it appears that the reference is to "BYTE KONS".

A couple who flew from Thailand to Mexico and now are “boat hopping” back to Aus. Currently in Fiji.

I cant imagine that restrictions are any less on immigration by boat. Just get less press I assume, due to being less common.

When I was last down under, both the Aussie and the Kiwi officials took immigration/biosecurity damn seriously. And this was pre-COVID.

Re: Captain or Boat Wanted: Vietnam or Mexico to Cairns Australia

They're not immigrating. They're Australian citizens. If they go to NZ or Australia, they will have to quarantine on arrival, unless they've made other arrangements with the health authorities. However, they should be accepted under specific conditions. Fiji is not quite the place to be right now.

FYI, at the moment, the Delta variant of covid has arrived in Australia, and has been doing its rapid spread in the major population centers. Australia has experienced difficulties getting vaccines out to their population, partly due to the fact that the regulatory bodies in Australia have to do their own testing: they are not allowed to use other nations' data, and the doctors are restricted, as well, as to which vaccines they can offer to which populations.

Good Chuckle.... Independent thought ... independent of reality, that is... seems to be a lot of that going around.

Anybody tell me what harm or detriment could come as a result of a PCR test? I had a PSA test and I am a bit skeptical of those - ask my friend who died of prostate cancer...

Where do you want to go next, N Korea?

This discussion reminds me of the old adage, "a fool and his lung capacity are soon parted."

There is a lot I did want to say in reply to this post... But I think it has been said. Just go read it aloud.Your question does not do this site any justice.

Faucet has been a very well respected Epidemiologist for decades and considered one of the top people in his field. If you have a problem with what he says you must have something to hide. I wouldn’t want you on my boat.

Sailing Vagabond had to quarantine in a special facility for 14 days when they returned to Australia.
