Re: B & G transducer nema 2000 not working

Does it show up in your nmea 2000 device list?

Have you selected that as the depth source? Or run the auto source selector again.

Are you in the water. At home? They Generally won’t give A depth out of water. Also it won’t show up a source choice fjr above.

Are you looking at the sonar page? That will not work with nmea 2000. It will only give you a depth number in a data box.

Did you feed power to the backbone cable?

i think i solved it, i had the connector to the depth on the lead side of the connection and terminator on the top of the connector, i switched them, also added a nmea wind vane at the top of the mast and its working, however the boat is out of the water and will splash in december. then ill find out if the depth is working,, fingers crossed.

I hate to say it, but I think that's unlikely to change anything.

Re: B & G transducer nema 2000 not working

I have found the depth/speed transducer to be very voltage sensitive. mine was inconsistent and then I replaced the batteries - bingo, all good ever since. the only thing that changes was an increased average voltage.
