Email over the Go, or the Iridium Handset works better if you use one of the low bandwidth email services like Xgate or ocens mail.


Saildocs has most of the noaa surface analyses and surface forecasts (all the weatherfax images) available by email request.


the great thing is that saildocs compacts the images so they are about 1/2 the size of the files on the noaa website.., or noaa's ftp mail service.
