Last Set of Batteries Using More Water

Hi
I have 4 x 6v Golf cart batteries wired in series/parallel. The pos feed goes to the pos terminal on the first batt and the neg goes to the neg terminal on the second batt. My problem is that the 3rd and 4th batts use much more water (4 times as much) compared to the first 2 batts.
regards
Mark
