Wheels, et al:
I knew I could count on the CruisersForum brain trust to come up with several plausible explanations for this weird, and not so wonderful, phenomena.
Well done!

Hallo Gord, here in the new Third World where power and telephones are now unreliable services and a shadow of what they once were, some of us think Zulu Time is more appropriate.

"Atomize this" I've never worried about timing accurate to less than a second. I find it more pressing to consider how many angels can really dance on a pin head.

I’ve always wondered, not how many, by why angels would want to dance on a pin head.

That's easy, Gord. When the angels get done with rugby matches, they go find the pinheads who've been cheering the opposite team. And since they are angels and they're not allowed to stomp on the pinheads, they joyously DANCE on them instead.<G>

What, tell me now you've never seen angels playing rugby?!

I would have expected that if they were truly Angels; they wouldn't be inclined to stomp on the pinheads.

I like that theory! It's sounds completely reasonable....Now can you come up with a theory that explains why Saturday and Sunday pass faster than the other 5 days of the week?

well Saturday and Sunday pass faster because they are on the ends of the week. As every math person knows strange things happen when you have to account for end effects. This is also closely tied to the fact that it rains on the weekends more often than weekdays.
An why do we call them weekends shouldn't they be strongends?
