can't post classified ad

I get an error that I need to place an interior photo and an exterior photo.

I have done that and it won't post. Still gives error. I have started over and tried using my gallery photo link. didn't help.
When I post the text in a message to myself I can see the images from clicking on the links.

I am using a regular computer explorers but I had the same problem with Firefox

After you attach the images are you clicking the upload link at the bottom of the attachment dialog box? Then wait a minute to make sure they have actually loaded?

I was using the tool to put a photo in the message not the attachment tool.

That tool only embeds links to publically accessible photos on the internet. You can't use it to upload an image from your computer. (That's why it asks for a URL and prompts with "http://")

That will be because the link you are inserting is to a file on your local computer - so it will only work if viewed in a browser on your computer.


Bottom line:
Use the "Insert Image" tool to show an image from the internet.
Use "Manage Attachments" to upload a photo from your computer.

I had the same problem a week ago with my MacBook Pro trying to list my boat here. Then I lost all the verbiage I had typed and never did find it again?
Kind of frustrating! Why the necessity of interior and exterior photos?
I wish I could just have a link to the add for my boat in YachtWorld.com. There's lots of pics of it there.
