Description: Pelican Harbor, Santa Cruz Island, California. Note whitecaps out in the channel. This is the typical summer afternoon pattern, 15-25 kts and makes for a great reach over to Santa Barbara. This view is looking northwest so this anchorage is fairly well protected from the predominant northwest swell.
