Re: Unknown37

My first thought was a Pearson Rhodes 41, with a modified rudder, but then it looked off for that. Maybe it is distortion of the shot. The hull looks more like the Luders 36, but the cabin definitely looks like the Rhodes. Perhaps it is a S&S design. I'd sure like to know what you find. Beautiful boat, in any case.

Re: Unknown37

that's a good guess, i've looked at the grampian, pearson invicta II, le comte, alpa etc.
i decided to buy the boat knowing that it will be a project. i'm wondering if i can find out from the old 6 digit HIN. i don't think it's been in the water for 10 yrs the po passed away and the boat was sold for salvage. i in turn bought from the wrecker. it's going to be trucked down to the marina where i keep my G26. looking forward to starting work on her.
at this time any pointers are good.
thanks for looking

Re: Unknown37

I'd say you lucked out on that one, and I wouldn't say that about every project boat! That is as long as you like stout, sea-kindly, sea-worthy classics that also have very respectable performance even by modern standards. Why not join the plastic classics social group here and post photos of your progress? Many of us would love to see them!

Re: Unknown37

If you look at sailboatdata.com for Grampian Classic 37, I believe you'll see it there.
