Description: This is Seraphim, a Mason 53, that we passed in mid race on the way to Isla Mujeres. Wind was sustained around 25 with gusts to 35 at this point.

Excellent photo! It reminds me of the cruise my wife 'n I did on our 27' Oday. we were heading upwind and I had to go to the bow to fix something. It launched me above the deck before I AND the boat crashed hard into the trough. I fractured my right arm, but managed to sling each leg over each side of the bow and like a horse, rode the waves trying to correct the malfunction. Wow! what a pic to remind of that.
