Storm Sail

Storm sail designed to be used with Roller Furler. The Luff of the sail has a sock that is built with a zipper which allows it to open up to slide/wrap around the boats Furled head sail, zipping it closed as you hoist the storm sail. You can see by the pictures it’s in excellent condition. Sail bag included. Luff = 22’-9” Leech = 17’-9” Foot = 9’-6” . FOB Peoria, Illinois. $525.00

Re: Storm Sail

I'm slightly interested and I plan to be in Peoria next week. I'm just concerned that your boat is bigger than mine and the sail is too big to use as a storm jib and too small (particularly in the luff) to use as a #3.

Re: Storm Sail

This maybe a little big for my 35 sailboat, but I do like the design, it could be shorten at the foot for mine. Did you ever use? If still available, would you be willing to lower your price? It would help. Thank you.

Re: Storm Sail

I never sailed it in bad weather only hoisted it to see the fit, as you can see there is no wear around the grommets. I could go down to $375.00 and you pay shipping, which I’m not sure where you’re located at and cost of shipping, the lower price should more than off set any shipping.
Sorry for the late response I didn’t check my emails yesterday.
Regards
Chris

Re: Storm Sail

How do you want it packaged, by Box, not sure it can be sent in only the sail bag? I know from shipping other items that the cost of boxing is at least 1/3 of the total shipping cost.
Let me know.
Regards
Chris

Re: Storm Sail

If your deal doesn't go together, please update. This could work for me.

Re: Storm Sail

Here is my email nevadacal@gmail.com, I got it today, its to big for my 35 ft. I knew it was, & was considering modifying it. That would be a bad idea. I may have found what will work for me, so it may become available. Its brand new & very nice. Give me a couple days & email me.
