Re: Anchors, Guns and Strippers!!!!

Pretty sure Steve needs to do another anchor test. I never did get my Viking sample. Maybe Izi has already sent you one for review, tell him you can have mine.

Chris, as you remember your Viking 20 was shipped to NY and was supposed to be picked up by your forwarder, the anchor sat there for a month due to some paperwork issues and at the end was given free to a friend of a friend to be used on a 57 Hallberg Rassy.
Anyway, for the sake of science and the community here, I am willing to give another one to you or Steve if he wishes to test it (shipping cost only), steve for you the charge will be $1 and not free of charge

Also while we were playing here see what is happening on the other side- https://forums.ybw.com/index.php?thr...anchor.533534/

Re: Anchors, Guns and Strippers!!!!

Izikalvo, international shipping can be difficult, we have learned many lessons.
Steve- if you are listening you both should PM each other but I'll take it you don't.

Boat in shed. Next launching uncertain. Perhaps late Summer.

Re: Anchors, Guns and Strippers!!!!

Steve, I love that pic.
We were just in your neighborhood with Nicks Cal 2/46 but too yucky outside to walk uptown. It's been an excellent anchor testing platform. Has a 4106, big 3 blade maxprop and a manual windlass on the stern quarter. At >35,000 lbs she generates some serious tug on the high speed reversal tests.
I'll work on something.
Chris
