FUNNY OLD GEEZER IN NEW CONDO BOAT

Hello. This is Robert. Anthropologist and musician, now retired but still active (sometimes). Been sailing all my life. Inland in the Netherlands where I orininate, but as I got on in life, sailing took me to the Baltic (Sweden, Norway, Finland, Denmark, Poland, Germany), the UK, France, Spain, Portugal, Canaries, Cabo Verdes, West Africa. Always on keelboats, but now bought a condo cat - a Fountaine Pajot Lavezzi. Great ship, but quite a handful at my age. Two hulls, so twice the work in maintenance. Maybe should of bought a small electric boat and potter around the pond after all. But I didn't - in denial, refuse to get old I suppose. Will probably fall overboard or break me legs one of these days. Oh well - what a way to go!


Been a member of this forum for quite some years, but due to my electronic disabilities somehow had my name changed into rmboonzajerflae - which is fact is just a part of my email address. The good thing is: I am now officially a junior cruiser! Trying to get back my original name on the forum. Just upgraded to supprter (we should ALL do this!), and now trying to change back my name to Robert again. Or to Jeanvi, which is the name of my boat. Fair winds to all of you. Keep sailing. Against all odds.
