Hi, new to this site!
Anyone have any thoughts/comments about this yacht?
We are thinking live aboard cruising in North America, Bahamas, Caribean then shipping her to Europe cruising from UK to the Med through the canals.

Yes we did and lived on board for five years plus. It was a truly exciting adventure!

Way to live your dreams. Did you end up doing the canals in both the Uk and France? I'm wondering what you might omit if you didn't have the time to do everything and what would be on your must see list.

Any input is appreciated.

Very brief itinerary:
Wilmington NC, down ICW to Miami and on to Key West. Back to Miami, over to the Bahamas(2nd visit since 1985!), back over to the USA then up to Savannah, shipped to the UK. South coast UK, to London St Katharine Docks (7 Months, cheapest apartment in town!). France, Belgium, Holland (islands as well), winter in Amsterdam, Germany, Baltic Sea, Copenhagen back Germany, Holland. All mast up.
Lowered mast then down the canals through Belgium, France, wintered on the Rhone at Valence, down to the Med, Marseille, Cassis. Back up the French canals to Paris (were going to winter there but a crappy marina with sadly lacking security in a very public park) on up through France, Belgium. Wintered in Antwerp. Fun little city! Through the canals to more time in Holland NE, Friesland etc ending up in Hindeloopen a little town on the Ijsselmeer.

Chanticleer was ideal for this adventure, 12.8m x 4.5 x 1.5 depth. A true motor sailer, great sail boat, 100hp motor, easy 8 knots. Did you check the link I sent you? If you are thinking about it ... go and do it ... it's not difficult!

Hi there, Thanks for your interest!
There are two custom built inlaid folding tables that stow in the starboard cupboard in their own racks as well as directors chairs. This gives ultimate flexibility without the fixed table. We have had eight sit down easily for dinner using both tables.

Do you know whether the boat has a certified CE category (A/B/C/D) and is this documented? Thanks

Where are you located and what areas of the world do you intend to sail?

The boat requires a CE certificate for sale in the EU. Does it have one?
