Phone Carrier in Virgin Islands

We are about to live in the Virgin Islands full time. Have been here 7 months with t mobil. Every time we enter the BVI's no service. What is a good carrier.

I like AT&T. You can get signal in the BVIs if you are line of sight to St. Thomas or Bordeaux Mountain on St. John. We get signal as far as Cooper Island. The other option is Google Fi. The other option is Flow or Digicel SIM and an unlocked phone.

Sprint works, poorly, on St. Thomas. Viya is another option

When I went 3 years ago I used AT&T. They treat USVI just like mainland USA. Good signals, no additional charges, no long distance or limitations. However, turn off data roaming just in case you happen to pickup a BVI tower. If you pickup a BVI tower it will really punish your phone bill.

Which VI? In the USVI AT&T works fine. In the BVI I use Digicel although Lime is decent.

ATT worked fine for us, and the 340 area code hasn't been discovered by spammers yet. Moved back to the US 8 years ago and kept our number. We lived on St. Croix and sailed an old Pearson 26.
