Searunner 40 trimaran Jim brown design.

It's a legendary Sea Runner 40. One of the few flagship largest models built. I encourage you to read about them and their safety record. They are legends in their own rights.
She spent many years as a charter in santa cruz as well as cruising in the south pacific.
I love this vessel. But, my life is changing and other opportunities are arising. It comes Well appointed and outfitted for single handed voyaging to remote places. The yacht has been quite a few places, hawaii multiple times, Japan, panama, florida. She was built for cruising.
I replaced the engine about a year ago and it's been great ever since.
Yanmar 3hm35f 3cyl diesel. Runs great.
80 gal fuel capacity
Baldor 150amp alternator
60 gal fresh water.
Running water.
Propane heated shower.
Quantum mainsail and jib are newer, also has working spares that come with.
Spinakers
Drouges,
Sea anchors,
4person safety equipment,
4 person life raft.
Center cockpit with all lines led there for easy sailing.
Shipmate propane oven and stove in the galley
Cozy cabin propane heater.
Raymarine radar
Raymarine axiom chartplotter
Icom m710 mssb ham radio
Icom automatic tuner.
Pactor modem
Navionics installed in a laptop with built in GPS to also use with the pactor modem to send and receive emails anywhere in the world.
Garmin's color chart plotter at the helm.
Garmin's fish finder and depth sounder.
Raymarine autopilot
Ampair wind generator
MPPT solar charging.
300ah battery bank.
2000w inverter
Stainless steel microwave and built in coffeemaker
Vhf radio.
Frigioboat marine refrigeration built into the galley. As well as a complete spare refrigeration system in brand new condition for any spares needed.
12v drink chiller,
12v tv dvd combo.
One years worth of dehydrated food.
Watermaker brand new.
Envirolet composting toilet.
Propane grill for the rail,
Plenty of docklines, halyards, jib sheets, anchor rode, as well as multiple anchors.
I will also throw in my skiff that's fairly new and comes with a 4hp outboard.
She has served me very well for a long time. And the prior owner cruised her for 20 years. The vessel underwent a refit in 2009 and seems to be solid.
I refer to it as my gentleman's yacht.
Recent video of us on the ocean:
https://youtu.be/1PIzswEFOdY

It now sports a new look with 3m Vynil Wrapping it's called psychedelic. Its supposed to last 7 years in this environment.
It's a great vessel, could use som more love cosmetically. But it is a boat and that all need something.

This vessel is coast guard documented and makes for an easy transfer of ownership.

She can come with a private mooring in half moon bay if that makes the sale easier and faster.
Or she is ready to sail to your next destination. I just took her out the other day.

I'm asking 45k for the yacht, the skiff with outboard and all cruising essentials, possibly the private mooring located in half moon bay California.

Not much room for negotiation on my end, but I hope being priced competitively it may motivate someone to chase their dreams of cruising fulltime. The vessel is '40 long by 25' beam.

Time is a precious thing. So please only serious inquiries about actually purchasing my vessel.

Thanks in advance. Click image for larger version

Actually, If anyone it interested, I have room to negotiate. Does 37k seem more enticing? Per square foot that's very competitive for a blue water vessel ready to sail away.

I had it surveyed before I purchased my policy. I own the vessel outright. Not that hard.

Oh yea, it also has a couple of water makers. Two survivor 30s in the ditch bag and a new one in the AMA. And the component stereo system can stay as well. Its loud and clear. I promise.

Re: Searunner 40 trimaran Jim brown design.

$33k obo... it's a solid vessel and will take you anywhere in the Pacific and beyond. It's only $50/mo to liveaboard or keep it on the private mooring. Its Cheapest berthing in the whole bay area. Not to mention the size of this. Keep it here if you like without any drama. Liveaboard if you like. Probably the cheapest actual liveaboard available you will find within a hundred miles. Most have a waiting list that takes years...

Re: Searunner 40 trimaran Jim brown design.

It's on ebay now. Good luck bidding!! I know it's worth more, but, I'm short on time. So here goes.
Thanks for the interest. There is no reserve on this auction. Bid accordingly. And I welcome sea trials.
