Moving a Boat from Turkey to EU ... in the time of COVID

We are very excited to be buying a beautiful, lovingly cared for sailboat that is currently lying in Turkey.

We want to move the boat into the EU as soon as possible after purchase, but are up against restrictions on boats moving between Turkey and Greece.

Does anyone have recent experience (August 2020) or even hearsay on moving a boat out of Turkey?

I've heard going via Cyprus is a possibility, but my investigations have turned up nil.

A lot may depend upon the ship's registry. Turkish? Italian? French? Spanish? Dutch? German? English? Bahamas? Your best course may be to contact the embassies of the countries involved with your transit and get something in writing from each of them to show the Coast Guard(s)/Customs people when you get to each place.

Turkey to Greece is not possible until at least the 31st of August 2020, same is true for travel from Turkey to Cyprus (Turkish part you can go to)
