Looking for the Searunner 37' that my dad built

I am looking for a homebuilt Searunner 37' that my dad built in the 70's and early 80's. It was christened the Triton. He sailed it from St Clair, MI. t Cocoa beach FL and sold it about 18 years ago when he was confined to a wheelchair and could not sail it anymore. Does anyone know what happened to it. Just curious. Please reply if you have any info.

Thanks

Re: Looking for the Searunner 37' that my dad built

Greetings and welcome aboard the CF, Sandy.

Mark Poletti, of Muskegon, MI, USA, owns a Searunner 25, named "Triton".

I didn’t see any 37s listed under that name; but of course, see may well have been re-named.

Aloha and welcome aboard!
Good luck in the search. That's a lot of time to catch up with and as Gord says she very well could have a new name. There's a Searunner thread here on the forum somewhere maybe some of those folks will reply.
kind regards,

Possibly, maybe owned by a guy named John blewett on the Searunner thread. I believe the boat is register as a 1987 or so, but does have a MCZ hull ID indicating homebuilt in Michigan

Re: Looking for the Searunner 37' that my dad built

It may be mine, however, the person I bought it from had no history of the boat. It was a mess when I bought it and while doing the repairs there were indications that it went on the rocks as some point in its life.
