Blue water cats on west coast? Cat dreamin'

I'm considering a blue water cat but have never seen one up close and personal. I started looking online at Prout Snowgoose models but then started looking at the Escale 38. I began drooling over Voyage Norseman models. Hours and days later, I took a hard look at myself in the mirror and slapped myself, realizing I need to set foot on a couple of cats to get a feel for the actual size before I get too greedy. The Snowgoose is so appealing because of the relatively narrow beam for a cat but the Norseman... 25' beam is almost wide enough to play cornhole at regulation distance! I would love to hear from anyone in the LA to Santa Barbara area if you have a blue water cat in this size range and are willing to give me a first hand glimpse at the actual size and your impressions after owning one.

Welcome any comments and PM's as well.

Thanks!

There is a Seawind 1160 (older model -maybe 5-8 years old?) at Modern Sailing in Sausalito. I’ve taken it out a few times. At 37” it feels a bit small for the wife and me, but it is a nice sailing boat. They do charters. You have to be a member and cleared to take it out, but I imagine they would let you check it out.
