Residency, DL and Taxes for working cruisers?

My wife and I are moving aboard a Beneteau O45 next month. We will both be working and (hopefully) bringing in some income. We are residents now of Iowa and our drivers licenses are Iowa but our boat will be registered in FL. The work will be done online while we make our way from Galveston, around FL and up the east coast. Does anyone know how taxes, residency, voter registration, licenses, etc. work when you're not in one place for long? Do I keep track of where I am when I do the work - and potentially have to file state income taxes in each - or can I assign myself to FL residency so that I match the boat and don't have state income taxes? If so, how do I do that? Any help appreciated!
