Pearson 30

Hello

I have a very well maintained Pearson 30. I personally took all the deck hardware off of the boat drilled the holes oversized filled all holes with epoxy ( Solid Balsa Core Everywhere I Drilled )

Once holes were drilled I put tape on the under side of the hole thickened up some epoxy filled all the holes. Then re drilled all holes through the epoxy then reinstalled all deck hardware. Now if anything should ever leak the balsa core will never get wet never get soft this boat has a solid fiberglass hull and now a solid deck will last for many years to come. Also this boat has the keel molded into the hull you will never get a keel to hull joint line or a Catalina smile. New to boat last year 2018 140% Racing Genoa 155 Tri Radial Dacron Genoa. New to boat 2016 115% Tri Radial Jib. Has full batten mainsail will need replaced in 5 years or so.Lazy Jacks Boom Vang. Harken Main sheet traveler. The boat has a tuff luff system so you can change head sail while one is still raised. 2 jib halyards 1 main halyard 1 Spinnaker Halyard New cushions 2014 new halyards 2013 new prop shaft and prop balance 2013 also engine realigned. fuel tank removed and cleaned self tailing winches all lines lead aft has GPS chart plotter new 2017 has a older auto pilot working order
Interior bright work re varnished. Bottom down to gelcoat 2013 5 coats interlux 2000 barrier then VC 17 bottom is perfect and fast

The year of the boat is 1979 selling because I will be buying a bigger boat I have owned her since 2011. She is a fast racer cruiser she has tiller steering with a very very light helm. She can be seen on Lake Erie near Lorain Ohio She also has many cruising sails that go with her. I have sailed this boat in many wind and sea conditions and she performs well in all of them . She is powered by an Atomic gas 4 engine she has electronic ignition and runs very well. Dont get turned off by a gas engine remember most power boats have gas engines. She also has a battery charger maintainer and comes with a shore power cord New head with hoses 2014 It has a water tank and 2 sinks I have never used them so not sure if any issues exist. With the new racing sail inventory she has plus the 5-7 cruising sails I have her priced very fair at $11,700
