2008 Beneteau Oceanis 50 fuel and water tank

Hi All. Our 2008 BO 50 is currently winterised in the Med, and I am looking to upgrade the fuel and water tank sensors to connect in our Cerbo GX. Is anyone able to assist with the length of the sensors required for the fuel tank and both forward and aft water tanks. Thank you in advance.

Re: 2008 Beneteau Oceanis 50 fuel and water tank

The aft fuel tanks take a WEMA S5-E300 so 300mm. The aft water tank (which originally used a different style sender) does have a slightly different shape at the top where the sensor is so I am not certain it is the same size but it most likely is. Sorry I can't help on the front tank depth right now (I'm not near my boat either).

I recently replaced my aft water tank with a fuel tank and hooked it up to the cerbo gx also. I haven't decided on a new sender for the forward tank. I will use the original one for now and may try an external foil sensor (which I am successfully using for both waste tanks). What sender are you planning to use?

Re: 2008 Beneteau Oceanis 50 fuel and water tank

Thanks very much for your help. I am hoping to use KUS level sensors on the water tanks and then continue with the current fuel level sensor if I can get it to work (if not I will replace with a KUS). Also hoping to hook up both gas bottles to the Cerbo and then look at what to use on the waste tanks through the GX tank 140. I'm not too familiar with the external foil sensors.
