Tracking a stolen dinghy...

In light of the thefts of dinghys in the Carribean recently, it appears the thieves usually steal the outboard and dump the dinghy.
My question is... Is there a product like a "Tile" or "Spot" to be able to track the outboard down if stolen? I would love to find something that would catch the criminals and help prevent this threat.

Looking for ideas to be prepared in addition to raising the dinghy at night and locking it for prevention.

A guy never wants to lose his dinghy.

Re: Tracking a stolen dinghy...

There's a product I use called OARS - Outboard Arm-powered Rowing System - that has pretty good theft-prevention built in.

Otherwise, I always see waterproof tracking devices in the discount section on Amazon. They're often advertising to catch your cheating spouse, etc. Many are very cheap, but have a subscription package for the satellite link.
