This beautifully restored classic yacht must be sold. Built in 1966 from fiberglass, she is incredibly solid and with a draft under 4 feet she makes the perfect bay boat. Her layout is well thought-out and the obvious attention to fit and finish the Cheoy Lee Shipyards are renowned for is impressive. With 4 berths (all over 6'2") and standing headroom she is user friendly and comfortable. She is in the water and being actively sailed.

Why does the boat "have to be sold", is there a problem with the boat?

No problem with the boat. We cruised for 6 years and took this boat in part trade to facilitate the sale of our larger boat last month. We live 600 miles away and plan on land cruising now.
We have sailed her in the Chesapeake and she is a lovely sailing boat. Just not what we want right now.

From your question I assume you are considering buying a boat now so when would you like to come see her?

Pity, I'm looking for 8.49' as a maximum, and thought I'd be able to get over 27' LOA with Cheoy Lee being so famously narrow.

Nor'sea 27, Columbia / Defender 29 and Cape Dory 27 are pretty much my current benchmarks. . .
