Massive and numerous hurricanes, earthquakes and tens of thousands of acres of forest afire in the Western US....It's almost as if the planet is trying to tell us something.

Re: vanuatu earthquake

hurricanes donot count. they happen and it is the season.
as for earthquakes...
mexico city , puebla and oaxaca.... with mex df spawning a volcanic eruption, or was it other way around.....yes popo(near mex df) is now spewing red, and colima merely blowing smoke, still....
now the west half of pacific rim with japan and vanuatu both shaking rattling and rolling...
so we gonna have more volcanoes blowing??? i am waiting on yellowstone to blow.....

I can't help but wonder what you mean when you say you are waiting for an eruption in Yellowstone National Park?

are you not aware that yellowstone park is inclusive of a very large caldera which is experiencing cluster quakes an d other signs of increasing activity?
if not, perhaps some research would be in order. stuff happens. the volcano under yellowstone will probbably not erupt for a few thousand more years, but itis interesting to observe the changes involved. it is overdue for its regularly scheduled pressure emission, aka eruption.
i have known this information since my childhood and been curious about this since i was quite young.
i have also been awaiting the rising of oceans over florida so i can sail over the high rises of lauderdale without touching the roofs with my keel, as i learned about that issue since 1958, when i read of it in world telegram and sun.
you planning on assignation of intent with my waiting??? that comes from within yourself, reader. you and you alone assign intent to my written words.

Newsprepper?

I guess the governmental agencies aren't reporting this "MAJOR EARTHQUAKE WARNING" because they don't want to scare us. Thank goodness for Newprepper to warn us.

Matt, earthquakes in Vanuatu are pretty common. We were in the quarantine anchorage in Vila when a 6+ hit. Big noise came through the hull, ran up on deck wondering what had happened, clouds of dust rising over the town clued us in!

Not much damage, no panic and life continued. Likely no one missed class that day, and the earthquake was not an acceptable excuse for not having your homework done!
