Looking For My Former Pearson 39 Yawl Silverheels

I'm writing to see if anyone has seen or knows the whereabouts of Silverheels? Last I heard she was in Canada perhaps on the Great Lakes. We owned and loved Silverheels for 24 years and would like to know she is owned and cared for. Her picture is attached.
Thanks
Rick

If any of you have seen this boat out there, perhaps you could let Rick know? Thanks in advance,

Ann

Re: Looking For My Former Pearson 39 Yawl Silverheels

There was a Great Lakes boat "Silverheels" that was launched as a yacht, converted to a freighter carrying cement in the Bahamas, then converted back to a yacht, and moved back to Canada (Toronto area). She was found to have some rot in her keel one winter, and was broken up instead of being repaired... It was about the mid to late 60's. LOL, I know not the same "Silverheels", but the story brought back a memory of a tale told me by an owner that I was delivering a boat for (a 39' Ditchburn built for John Henry Molson in 1939).... Which is another cool old boat I had the pleasure of skippering. (Picture Below)

Looking at USCG Documentation and Canada Registry. There are two Pearson yachts in the US named Silverheels, one is 35 and one 42.

Thank you for your responses. Still looking. Perhaps another owner has changed her name but her appearance is very distinctive. Please keep looking.
Thank you

Re: Looking For My Former Pearson 39 Yawl Silverheels

Hi Rick

I think my wife and I own your old Silverheels.

We have a 39' Pearson yawl still registered to that name.

We sail out of the Island Yacht Club on Lake Ontario in Toronto, Canada.

We are avid sailors and have been keeping her in great shape. (There's A LOT of brightwork to keep ship-shape!). We've been sailing her for 5 years with our 2 children.

Feel free to contact me if you'd like more details.

Cheers
Andy
