I've read the threads that popped up on the search for my intended route
of Key West
to the Dry Tortugas
. A couple had mention the Lakes passage
but it was really covered as a viable option obviously because most draft
deeper than the average 4. Ill be in my Wight Wight Potter which will draft
less than a foot and half when fully laden and keel
up. As far as routing goes is it even worth it to motor
through the lakes passage
to and return from the DT or is the southern outbound and northern return still the golden standard?
Also any helpful local knowledge would be greatly appreciative!
Thank you so much for any help you may provide.
