Beneteau Oceanis 45 shoal draft rudder length?
Hello,
We're contemplating buying a shoal draft version of this boat and I am struggling to find information on the length of the rudder.

I have seen one manufacturer, Dufour, who made a shoal draft 40+footer by shortened the keel but then left the rudder the same length. Obviously, this gives better control when heeled, but the rudder on this boat definitely touches the bottom before the keel. I don't like that at all...

Does anyone know what the rudder situation is with the shoal draft Oceanis 45? If the rudder is shorter, how do they sail when heeled or in big gusts?
