Mariner 28 (Canning) Standing Rigging

Good afternoon,

After several years on the hard refitting my 1978 Mariner 28 (Peter Canning) project sailboat, I'm finally down (fingers X) to redo the mast. Although the standing rigging steel cables looks to be in decent shape, I have decided to replace all, and yes, I intend to Diy it.

FYI, I'm a total noob, but highly capable.

The Mast in question is believed to be a Schaefer & Spars measuring approx 34ft

Question #1: Does this Mast calls for "Mast Heel Plug"?

Question #2: Has anyone here any experience dealing with E-Rigging.com ?

Question #3: Where can I get the best bang for buck without compromising quality of steel cables and end fittings?

Question #4: What kind of 1/2" halyard should I use to replace the running rigging, particularly the one goes up inside the mast?

Question #4: Any reference on well designed, efficient, and cost effective mast steps - for climbing mast?

Question #5: Does anyone have the specifications for the front stay (this is the only steel cable missing) ?

Question #6: 1/4" cables or 3/16 ?
