Morgan 41 OI info

We are looking at a 1975 41OI to buy. I cannot find any info on the layout on this one. The closest I can come is the 1976 41OI. It has a portside galley. Also, the vee birth has been split in two halfs by a bookcase that also incorporates chain pipes for the double windless aboard. It appears to be a factory install or a darn good carpenter afterwards. Two of the deciding factors on this boat is it has a Yanmar 4jh2-hte with only 173 hrs on it. The other is it has all new cushions throughout (stored in A/C). Drawback is its been sitting for many years and needs a LOT of TLC. But at the price, I can't turn it down. Besides, Its the boat Relinda has always wanted. HWHL...
Comments appreciated.

Re: Morgan 41 OI info

I have a 1970 40' Morgan Cruising Ketch I am refitting. Beware the "black iron" steel tanks for freshwater and diesel (if so equipped). Mine were trashed and the deck was placed on the boat AFTER the tanks were installed. They are not easily repaired or replaced.

Thanks for the reply. The tanks in this one are aluminum and appear to be in good shape..

Hi and welcome from Ontario Canada [emoji846][emoji1063]

I would imagine you could find an owner's forum online or a Facebook Morgan Page. Gotta think you'll get what you need there.

Enjoy your boat, it sounds fantastic!
