Interesting Wikipedia Article on Narco Subs

Having just heard about a huge narco sub of the Spanish coast last year, ( https://www.google.com/url?sa=t&sour...=1582849621837)
found this article in Wikipedia:

I never thought that this is so widespread (tens of them per month) and technological advanced (some of them fully submersible real subs).


Surprised Hollywood has not taken up the subject...

Makes me really wonder though if not some of the pirate attacks in the Caribbean have this as background.
Yacht passes the sub to close for comfort for the subs crew and they or one of their support trawlers just sink the yacht and kill the crew....

I think my next boats gonna be a PT Boat. Lots of room, fast, safe, twin .50 caliber machine guns, torpedo's and the option of depth charges.
