Good catch, riggear! Mine is similar, but is a Trinka 10.

I have the Trinka 8 (mother ship is only 34') Great boats and fun to sail. Wish I had the 10ft, but my foredeck would be too cluttered.

Another potential use is for any semi rigid etc that is kept as a lifeboat to add sailing capability. The mast can always overhang when its down.

I'm assuming the way the ad is worded that this is everything except the hull.

I have a 9'6 Glas-tech jigger and need some stuff for it but not interested at $390 for everything, since it may or may not work and I'm in Florida, so checking would not be easy. If you don't have any luck selling I'd be happy to talk about details, price or possible trades. I have a brother in eastern Connecticut that I visit every once in a while and the boat came from his neighbors for free.

for info My boat is Glas-tech Mfg. hull # 131 class jigger
9 ft 6 in long, 50 in beam, slotted mast 16 ft 4 in with 3/16 slot and wide sail insertion point in slot at 48 inches, mast 16 inches back from bow. So I suspect leading edge of sail is around 12 ft something. 13 in dagger board slot with slight rake aft.

Basically I have mast and hull, but have jury rigged everything else to make it sort of complete and sail. I made the hull be 2 pieces so it'll fit better on deck in a storm. I normally just use it as a rowing dinghy since my sailing rig is a mess. Anybody with info, dimensions, parts for my boat I would surely welcome.

The company is out of business but was in eastern Connecticut

I'm in mexico right now but i can make the trip up to the boatyard in Marina del rey to pick it up. I'd gladly pay for shipping. I have been looking for the sail rig for mine to teach my little boy to sail while we are out cruising.

Is your Trinka set up for sailing, with the centerboard trunk, the receptacle for the mast, and the gudgeons on the transom to accept the rudder? (Only asking because I've only seen Trinkas that came rigged for sailing).

I would just need to cut out the seat and slot the hull. Its set up with the pintles , gudgeons and sail tube... I just sent you a pm

I knew what you mean't[emoji3]. I will look into FedEx ground freight tomorrow, but I'm thinking about the package--long spars, heavy rudder and daggerboard, and the bulky sail bag. It may makes sense to break into multiple packages. What would be your cut-off point for shipping costs before you try your Southington connection?
