1980 Hunter 36 in La Paz, Mexico

Due to putting off crossing the last two years, once from Brexit and then this year from Covid, I've decided to cut my losses and sell my home of the last 7 years. I need to get back to work at some point!

GUDGEON is a 36' 1980 Hunter, designed by John Cherubini. $35,000
Is basically ready to go - had checked out of Mexico to cross to FP before the borders closed and we reentered Mexico so also comes with 3 months of canned food and provisions. The oldest parts of the rig are 5 years old, while the chainplates and some other bits are just 1 or 2 years old. I basically spent the last 7 years redoing almost every system, the wiring was all replaced 6 years ago, the plumbing replaced 6 years ago etc.

All the electronics are networked using Nmea2K and work great and includes Radar, AIS and wireless VHF.

Sails:
- Mainsail – Precision Sails, fully battened - 4 years old
- 125% Genoa – Precision Sails, on roller fuller - 4 years old
- 110% genoa - unknown age, used for double headsail going downwind
- Symmetrical Spinnaker, unknown age

Engine:
· Yanmar 2QM20– 1500 Hours since I got it 7 years ago. Runs great.
- Just had injectors tested this year.
-New motor mounts this year (including stringer refurb)
· 30 gallon fuel tank
- 50 Amp Altenator

Batteries
- 400AH Lithium Battery Pack
- Orion JR BMS
- All relays etc included and are hooked up
- 550 Watts of Solar power
- 3 solar controllers for maximum coverage

Galley:
- Engel Combi 60QT Refrigeration – 12 volt (this thing is amazing)
· 2 burner propane stove w/oven
· Double stainless steel sink with integrated faucet/sprayer
· Pressure Water
· 80 gallon water tank

Electronics:
· NSS8 Plotter
· Simrad AP with heavy duty below decks DD1 drive
· Simrad VHF w/ wireless helm remote and backup AIS receiver
· ProMariner ProNautic Battery Charger
- AIS transponder with separate antenna and GPS
- Standalone Simrad GPS
- H2183 Airmar electronic compass
- Simrad 3G Radar

Rig:
- Completely replaced 5 years ago
- New port shroud last year
- New chainplates 2 years ago
- Furler is a Harkon MkIV - also 5 years old.

Dinghy:
- 8' Portabote
- 3.5HP Tohatsu 2 stroke
- A set of decent oars

Other Equipment:
· All ports replaced with Newfound Metals stainless steel ports
· Hard Dodger with canvas sides (removable)
- 2 Spinn poles (used for running downwind for long passages)
- Natures head composting head
