This is the best deal in the US, for a fiberglass cruising trimaran. the $8500 27 hp Yanmar diesel has never been started, built by a master builder for himself, she been a fresh water boat most of her life. 4 bunkbeds and a large berth in the aft cabin.
$38,000 and a easy sail to the Bahamas from Maine.

The diesel is stored in the shop, she will need new halyards,tramps and deck paint.
I will refinish her this summer, but of course will raise the price, as i am selling for half of survey

You will raise the price on this boat you have been trying to sell here and elsewhere for six years? Good luck.

I suggest you do less spin and salesmanship, and offer the straight-up story. What hassles of the mixed USA-Canada pedigree (questioned in various threads on various forums) will need to be overcome by the new owner? What other reasons have prevented a sale for so long?

One correction: I probably was thinking about a different USA-Canada boat with a bunch of price reductions. The straight-up story on this long-unsuccessful sale still would be helpful.

I don't think there is much of a story. It's a project boat and it's in Maine which is 2 strikes. Maybe the price is a little high but I think it would be a great boat. I also think if it was in someplace more accessible and with a milder climate then it would be gone a long time ago.

I have sailed and raced this boat , it was built by a member of our club , and purchased by a good friend . It is a very well built boat that sails well. The sails where put on just before a move to the The USA by the owner. He stopped sailing soon after he got there so the sails are quite unused .
It is smaller down below that modern boats but so is my Outremer.
