Re: When Will OpenCPN Plugins be available again?

You respond quickly to support requests. Great work!

Is it possible to compile the statusbar plugin for Bionic as well?

Best regards Jørn

Re: When Will OpenCPN Plugins be available again?

No problem compiling the status bar plugin using code from https://github.com/seandepagnier/statusbar_pi, which is more up to date than the source referred to in the O documentation.
But... this code is not adjusted for version 5.0 as there is interference from the canvas toolbar.
Once again this is compiled on Ubuntu 19.10, but it does install without problem on my 18.04.

Re: When Will OpenCPN Plugins be available again?

I went back to the oldest Ubuntu distro still listed, a 16.xx version. Problem solved, it all works fine and also it fixed a problem with FLDIGI Now comes the question - if I update the computer will it update itself into not working???

So far I have added the AIS radar, VDR, and DR plugins with no issues using apt-get. Running the updater on Ubuntu did not cause issues. FLDIGI also is behaving so far.
